Learn Reiki Philadelphia offers Reiki classes from Level 1 to Master Teacher and stone and crystal courses as well.   We have a wide variety of training options to meet the diverse needs of our students.  Our classes are small, most limited to just 8 students to allow for individualized attention and support.  We have locations throughout Philadelphia-we may be closer than you think!

Reiki Level 1

Learn Reiki, the gentle healing touch from Japan, and impact the wellness of yourself and others!

Available as a 24 hour, 8 week class or 5 class Condensed training.

Thursday afternoons 2-5pm Sept. 9 – Oct. 28  Instructor – Melissa Ameika

Monday evenings 6-9pm Sept. 13 – Nov. 1  Instructor – Danielle Stimpson

This class offers equal amounts of hands-on practice and classroom learning, and is appropriate for professional development and personal enrichment. Students will develop the ability to give Reiki to themselves and others with confidence, and learn a thorough understanding of energy work.

Curriculum Includes:

• All Level 1 Attunements

• The History of Reiki & the basics of Japanese culture

• Theories of Human Energy Systems, including Chakras, Meridians, & Auras

• Best practices & ethics, professional obligations, applicable legalities & insurance information

Within this course are two public clinics where volunteers are invited to receive a free session from a student.  This allows students to support the community while gaining practice in a supportive group setting.  Strict attendance requirements must be met for successful completion of the class.  Investment includes Manual and recycled 3-ring notebook. Students are required to bring with them a journal and a pen.

Reiki 1 for Massage Therapists & Bodywork Professionals

A 5 week, 18 hour class

This course was developed to meet the specific needs of bodywork professionals who seek to add Reiki to their practice. Shorter in length than our traditional Reiki 1 Certification,  this program forgoes public clinics while supporting the integration of Reiki into the therapies & modalities you currently use.  Lots of hands on practice and opportunities for networking.

• Energy Principals & Energy Clearing

• Ethics & Best Practices

• Explaining Reiki to our Clients

This class is perfect for Professional Massage Therapists, Professional Therapeutic Bodyworkers of all modalities, Medical Professionals (including Nurses, Doctors, EMTs) and more.  It is not for students.
To be considered eligible for this class, you must hold applicable certification (and/or license in your field if required by PA State law).  Unlike our other courses, Professional Liability Insurance is required for this class, as students will be trading sessions that may consist of modalities outside of Reiki.  If you have any questions about eligibility, insurance, or the framework of this course please contact Danielle.

Basic Reiki 1 for Self-Healing

Perfect for students looking for deep personal healing without a focus on treating others, or who want to learn Reiki to impact their own wellness but does not have much time to commit.   Wether you have chronic pain, anxiety, or are healing emotionally; Basic Reiki for Self Healing provides a safe place to learn, heal, and grow.

This basic Reiki training  includes all level 1 attunements, practice, guided meditations, and lots of love and support.

Reiki Level 2

A 10 week, 30 Hour Class ♦ Prerequisite – Reiki Level 1

Friday mornings 10am-1pm Sept. 10 -  Nov. 12

Instructor: Danielle Stimpson

The focus of level 2 is deepening our relationship with Reiki energy and exploring new ways of using it. Subjects include learning to send Reiki over a distance and using the sacred symbols.

Three of the eleven classes will be public clinics. These more advanced student sessions will be packaged as three sessions per client with the same student practitioner, allowing for practice of continued care in a professional setting.  The three treatment package will be offered to the community on a low-cost sliding scale basis, with all proceeds benefiting a local charitable cause.  Please note that there is an attendance policy for this course as well.

While this class is offered to those who studied level 1 elsewhere, prospective students are required to meet with Danielle to discuss their previous training prior to enrollment. The additional purchase of Danielle’s Level 1 Manual is required at an additional cost of $10.

Reiki Level 3 – Master Teacher Certification

Extended Study & Apprenticeship Program with Danielle Stimpson

Currently Enrolling 8 classes over 16 weeks, Bimonthly Sundays 1:30-4:30pm

Class Dates 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, 11/21, 12/5, 12/19, 1/9, 1/23. Also available as Correspondence Study, one trip to Philadelphia will be required

Class in Session

The final level of Reiki training is just the beginning of a rewarding healing practice!  The Reiki Mastership class meets 8 times over 16 weeks.  The remaining 8 weeks are set aside to complete coursework outside of class.  Disclaimer-this is a work intensive class! Throughout the class, you will be guided step by step through the research & writing of your own level 1 manual, with plenty of chance for feedback & support along the way.

Also Included:

• Working with The Master Symbol & other “Non-Traditional” Symbols

• Learning to Pass Attunements

• Student teaching-presenting 3 separate sections during Danielle’s other classes while supervised & supported

• Writing your own Level 1 Manual

• Writing your own Level 1 Course Outline

• Exploring different kinds of learners & teaching methods to suit them

• Plan,  present & promote a workshop of your own (on any topic you choose) outside of class

• Give 5 documented Reiki sessions, Receive 5 Reiki sessions, Receive & document 5 sessions with modalities other than Reiki (we have a long list of barter-friendly practitioners to keep this requirement affordable)

• OPTIONAL: observation of another Reiki class taught by Danielle

Prerequisite: Reiki Level 2
We happily accept students from other teachers, lineages and schools into our Mastership Program, regardless of when Level 2 training was completed.  Observation of level 1 or 2 classes may be recommended or even required of some transfer students.  There are no additional fees for classroom observation.

Crystal Healing for Reiki Practitioners

A 6 week, 18 Hour Class ♦ Prerequisite – Reiki Level 1

This six session course is designed to help students & practitioners integrate the  healing properties of Crystals & Stones with Reiki using simple, effective techniques.  This fun, hands on training is perfect for all levels of practitioners; with or without previous Crystal knowledge.

Students will learn to:

• Select, cleanse, charge, and care for stones

• Choose stones for specific healing purposes

• Create safe gem essences for personal and client use and gain awareness of contraindications

• Develop a working knowledge of combined Reiki and gemstone healing
